Physio4Kids: Why We Are Case Managers’ Number 1 Choice
We understand that managing the treatment and rehabilitation aspect of a litigation case, where a child’s future health and wellbeing is at stake, is a great responsibility. You need to commission the help of the top professionals who can ensure the most positive outcome for the young person and their family. That is why so many case managers choose to work with Physio4Kids & Young Adults.
We have been doing this for many years, utilising the expertise of our very experienced specialist physiotherapists, and we have a proven track record of our success. This involves working with children and young adults who often have very complex physical and neurological conditions. We define this ‘success’ by understanding the wishes of our patients and their families – their hopes, their dreams, their aspirations.
Over the years we’ve improved the lives of hundreds of patients and, consequently, their families, by helping them to achieve things they had previously only dreamed of. With our help, Anna’s mum dared to take her for a picnic at the park in her wheelchair for the first time, and Rosie was finally comfortable enough to sleep the whole night through, allowing her mum to have a good night’s sleep too!
Our team of extremely knowledgeable physiotherapists think outside the box and employ specialist techniques that really get results. Combining expertise with trust, rapport and empathy, we build professional relationships with our patients and their families which help us, and them, to see maximum benefit from each session. Crucially, our patients enjoy their time with us, and we all know that even the most difficult tasks seem easier when you’re having fun!
For many of our patients, their dreams are about getting the most from every day and enjoying simple pleasures that many of us take for granted. Others have higher hopes, and dream of reaching dizzy heights – like Brady who, with our help, achieved his goal of competing and winning a medal at the Special Olympics. We listen, understand and do all we can to help our patients fulfil their aspirations, whatever they may be; we are with them every step of the way.
The cases we deal with are usually very complex – there are reports to read and to write, various parties to communicate with, medical and legal professionals to update and a range of legislative requirements to be met. While all this will be professionally managed to a very high standard, we never lose sight of the fact that, at the centre of it all, it’s about a child or young adult who deserves a fair chance and a family who desperately wants the best for their son or daughter. It is about the time we spend with the patients, the smiles on their faces, the pride and elation when they reach that next milestone and the emotion on parents’ faces when they see the progress their child is making.
That is why case managers rely on Physio4kids & Young Adults – because we don’t just deal with ‘cases’, we aim to always bring out the best in our patients.
